Perfecting Darts by DEBBIE UTBERG

Darts are the unsung heroes of quality clothing. They shape the fabric creating fit and comfort. For all the work they do,  they are generally most magnificent when they disappear and become virtually invisible. This class will focus on perfecting your dart construction techniques. Among other “dart-isms” you will learn how to press a dart, when to slash a dart, single thread stitching for darts and tucks, how to sew a french dart, when to use convex and concave darts, and perhaps most importantly, getting rid of the “dimple” at the end of your dart.

CLASS Preparation: none
