From time to time, Columbia River Sewing receives information about Community Service Projects. While they are not official chapter projects, we offering the information as a service to our members and the community at large.

Project Information
Mission Statement
We sew for Bloomin’ Boutique and Angels in the Outfield, who both work with children in foster care programs throughout the Portland area. We also sew hats and toiletry bags for The Father’s Heart that helps feed and clothe the homeless.
Project Description
The group meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month to pick up pre-cute projects such as pillowcases, toiletry bags, fleece hats and pj’s they sew at home and return at the next meeting. We also collect small toiletries and financial donations to fill the toiletry bags.
We love donations of cottons, flannel and fleece fabrics.
