Ticketed Event Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: March 2025
To ensure clarity and consistency in the management of our events, Columbia River Sewing has adopted the following cancellation policy for all ticketed events, including workshops, classes, and special programs:
1. General Policy
All ticket purchases for Columbia River Sewing events are non-refundable. Your registration guarantees your spot and helps us plan accordingly for instructors, supplies, and venue costs, which are often paid in advance and are non-recoverable.
2. Transfers
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please notify us at least 48 hours before the event with the name and contact information of the person taking your place.
3. Exceptions
In the rare event that Columbia River Sewing cancels an event—such as due to instructor illness or unforeseen facility issues—a full refund will be issued to all registered participants.
4. Donations
If you are unable to attend and do not wish to transfer your registration, you may choose to donate your registration fee to the Guild. Please let us know via email so we can acknowledge your contribution.
5. Communication
We understand that unexpected situations arise. While we may not be able to offer a refund, we ask that you communicate respectfully with our volunteers who work hard to organize meaningful events for our sewing community.
