My Journey to Now: Fabric, Scissors, a Needle and Thread with Ann Williamson

About Ann

Ann was a painting and drawing major in college but focused on textiles, making pieced and appliqued textile art for the wall. For fun she made art to wear. After school, Julie’s, the premier wearable art gallery in the US, offered to show her work. For years, every 6 months, she would exhibit her clothing in this gallery.

Later, weaver Randall Darwall suggested she try craft shows. She applied and got into the Smithsonian, the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft show and American Craft Council’s Baltimore show. Besides exhibiting and selling her work at these fine craft shows, she also has an online webshop.
